Visiting Pasar Palmerah
Our quest began at Pasar Palmerah, where interviews with local vendors and observations revealed a pressing issue: the rapid disposal of vegetables within a 2-day window, severely limiting profit opportunities. This realization fueled our determination to address the problem through scientific innovation, drawing inspiration from the resourcefulness of humanity and our ancestors.
Investigating chocolate
In a high school science lab, William A, Miguel, William T, and Shakti collected expired chocolate to test for antioxidants. Through an extraction process using a water-alcohol mixture and centrifugation, we separated the liquid antioxidant from the solid chocolate phase. In that pivotal moment, a mix of thrill, hope, and fear enveloped us. Unbeknownst to us at that instant, a solution to the problem ignited within just 60 minutes.
Case studies
Following product development, we swiftly moved to conduct case studies to affirm the product's effectiveness. The sprayed spinach exhibited superior health, displaying minimal signs of spoilage. Brimming with joy, our determination to address the problem soared even higher.
